Popular Menu Items

The secret to the incredible Chicken Fingers at Raising Cane’s is that they use only fresh (never frozen) chicken tenders that are marinated in a tenderizing and spice infusing specialty marinade.

Then, each tender is hand breaded to order. This small batch philosophy really gives Raising Cane’s an edge by focusing on doing a few things, perfectly.

The coleslaw and Cane’s Sauce is made fresh daily at each location. This means that you get crisp and creamy slaw and fresh zingy sauce with every order, every visit.

The Texas Toast has just the right butter and garlic balance, and it is grilled to perfection right in time for your meal.

Raising Cane’s History

The founder of Raising Cane’s, Todd Graves, was originally unable to borrow capital to open his restaurant. In order to earn the initial capital investment, he worked in both oil refineries in Louisiana and commercial fishing in Alaska while he saved enough money to get the SBA loan that was enough to open the business.

The first Raising Cane’s location opened next to the LSU campus in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The chain grew rapidly and had 50 locations by 2008, concentrated in Baton Rouge.

By 2016 there were 280 locations in the United States. One of the hallmarks of the brand is their commitment to strengthening local communities, donating 25% of profits to schools, food banks and canine assistance programs among other organizations.
