Subway, eat fresh. There’s something about catchy jingles that just stick with me.

Full list of Subway’s Secret Menu Items

Old Cut

  • Price: Regular Price
  • Where is it Available?: Most locations
  • How do I order?: Ask the server to cut your bread “old style”. If they look confused, explain that this means that they cut into the bread from the top instead of from the side. This may prove to be difficult for employees who are less experienced sandwich artists, but there’s hope for Subway foodies.

You may not remember this, but Subway used to cut their bread differently. When you order the Old Cut, the bread is dug out from the top like a trench instead of being sliced open from the side. It’s almost like an upside triangle carved into your sandwich at two opposing angles.

I liked it when they served the Subway like this, because the toppings seemed to stay in place better, with less sliding around. And it just simply looks cool. It’s the small things in life that make you happy, right. And this small sandwich gesture brings a smile to my face.

Pizza Sub

  • Price: Regular Price
  • Where is it Available?: All locations
  • How do I order?: Ask for a “Pizza Sub” from the Subway Secret Menu. If they don’t know what this is, show them this recipe.

A Pizza Sub is a sub loaded with Spicy Pepperoni, tomato sauce, melted cheese and veggies of your choice. It’s basically pizza toppings on Subway bread so you get the best of both worlds. If you can’t choose between sandwich night or pizza night, be original and do both.

Might I suggest adding purple onions, olives, and bell peppers to this yummy dish?

Wing Effect

  • Price: Regular Price
  • Where is it Available?: All locations
  • How do I order?: Ask your Subway sandwich server to leave the bologna hanging off the edge of sub.

So this seems like an interesting order to me, and maybe even a little to particular. In general, your Subway sandwich artist folds the meat when placing it into your sandwich. However, if you prefer your bologna hanging over the edge of your sub, just ask for the Wing Effect and make your little heart content.

If you have a sensitive palette, then this is your secret Subway order.

Chicken Parmesan

  • Price: Varies by location
  • Where is it Available?: Some locations
  • How do I order?: Just tell them to add roasted chicken breast to black pepper, top that with marinara sauce, spinach, and black olives. Then sprinkle all of that with Parmesan cheese. Hey you can even get cheese baked into your bread now, which might be extra delicious with this.

The Chicken Parmesan Subway should be ordered by those who have the motto, “The messier, the better.” This extra sloppy sandwich tastes like Little Italy. The Chicken Parmesan sandwich is full of flavor with the packed flavor loaded into parmesan cheese, and the garlic tomato sauce, all topped with melted cheese. If you like saucy cheesy orders, which I do – thanks for asking –  this one’s for you.

The Big Philly Cheesesteak

  • Price: Varies by location
  • Where is it Available?: Some locations
  • How do I order?: Order three scoops of steak and twice the cheese to be placed on your subway. Then top with peppers and onions, if you’re feeling fancy. Why yes, please, doll.

The Big Philly Cheesesteak subway is fully loaded with extra meat and double cheese. And not just any meat. Steak meat. Meat for serious meat eaters. It makes me even want to write more succinctly serious, because this is a serious sandwich.

Warning: this loaded subway is super filling, so only order this if you’re serious about eating that day.

The Feast

  • Price: $9
  • Where is it Available?: Some locations
  • How do I order?: order all the deli meats to be placed on your sandwich, including: turkey, ham, pepperoni, and salami.

This is the beast of all feasts. If you haven’t eaten in, let’s say, two weeks, and you need one meal to make you feel wholly full again, Subway has you covered with the Feast Subway.

But now I have questions about why you didn’t eat for two weeks. Were you held hostage, and were they not nice to you by offering you three full meals a day? The injustice of this world.

It’s okay, you can fix it with this one order, and begin to feel everything is right again.

The Carnivore

  • Price: $12
  • Where is it Available?: All locations
  • How do I order?: This subway has four scoops of steak, eight pieces of bacon and six slices of pepperoni. It’s a whopping sandwich for a whopping $12. Hey, you pay for what you get, right? If you want to be loaded down with protein, you’re going to have to pay. But hey, this can be your all-day meal.
